The Ed Levy Golf Open

The Ed Levy Golf Outing is in its 40th year!



The Ed Levy Golf Open provides Rutgers Alumni, family and friends with a venue to relax, catch up, and play a round of golf. The double shotgun outing held at Bunker Hill Golf Course began in the early 1980's.  For the last 19 years, the event serves an added purpose to generate scholarships for current Rutgers Recreation students. Each year a number of students who fulfill academic and community service requirements are selected to each receive a $1000 scholarship. The Ed Levy Golf Open is the largest golf outing at Rutgers with 288 participants and to date has provided over $150,000 in scholarship money.

Current students from the Rutgers Recreation department, as well as the professional staff, are on hand to provide golfers with a memorable outing and with a barbecue, hole in one prizes, and more, a good time is promised to all who participate.
